Alright, I've still got an hour until I reach my 8 p.m. deadline. Let's go...
Thabo Sefolosha - Oklahoma City (3% Ownership)
Game: Oklahoma City @ Golden State, tipoff at 10:30 p.m. EST
Aye
vey. He said he wouldn't to it, but look at him. He caved. That I did, random italicized
voice, that I did. I've resorted to the lowest common denominator: picking a
match up against my favorite squad because if all goes according to plan, it's
the best option out there. The first half of tonight's Thunder game
is almost
over and Sefolosha still has yet to play, but I’m going to chalk that up to the
fact that he was just dealt yesterday and he’s still dealing with passing the
OKC physical, which Tyson Chandler proved earlier this week is no easy feat.
Thabo, in only his third NBA season, has proven that he has a solid all around
fantasy game when given the chance. His shot needs work but he helps out in
more ways than scoring. His line in 40 career games as a starter is: 28 min, 44
FG%, 76 FT%, 0.5 3PTM, 9.4 PPG, 5.2 RPG, 2.3 APG, 1.3 SPG, 0.6 BPG and 1.9 TO.
Like Boris Diaw and Vlaidmir Radmonavic have shown already this season, role
players on loaded teams can make for good fantasy sleepers on lesser squads. If
he plays tomorrow night, which is still somewhat in question and few people
know the answer, he should thrive against a Warriors squad that has the
friendliest defense to opposing fantasy players. Athletic guys like Sefolosha
always seem to do well against my team. If I were you I’d roll the dice.
