Leon Powe - Boston (5% Ownership)

My boy Powe out of Oakland is straight money went he fills in as a starter. In five games in the starting lineup last season he posted 14.2 PPG, 6.8 RPG, a steal and great percentages. A starter he will be the next two to three weeks while Kevin Garnett recoops from a muscle strain. Not only is the 24-year-old Powe one year older than he was last season, but he has one more year's experience of going up
against one of the best big men in the history of the game in practice. That's a huge development booster. Without
Amar'e Stoduemire the Suns' best lineup involves running a 6-foot-7 guy out there to play power forward, which I'm guessing they will at least try tomorrow as they look to employ more of an up-tempo style under new coach Alvin Gentry. Look for Powe to make mincemeat out of
Matt Barnes this Sunday. My money is on him throwing up a double-double as the C's need him not only on the boards but also as a solid post presence to play along side the offensively challenged
Kendrick Perkins. Expect Powe to have his way inside the paint while Perkins counteracts Shaq's size underneath the basket.
