Will Bynum — Detroit (0% Ownership)
Golden State @ Detroit, 8 p.m. EST tip
I can all but guarantee you no one will stream in Will Bynum for tomorrow's game against the Warriors. First, there are too many other options in 99 percent of the leagues out there. Second, not enough people visit this blog for even a small percent to take the risk. Third, it's Will Bynum.
Since I'm sitting in a law class right now, I'm going to break down my logic step by step for why he makes a good play tomorrow.
1. Allen Iverson is out. Without this Bynum would get minuscule playing time and there'd be no reason to consider adding him.
2. Despite only seeing 13 minutes a game, without Iverson, Bynum has played well and put up decent numbers his last two games, posting 8 points, 3 assists and 1.5 steals.
3. This one should be a blowout:
- In Detroit's last three games they beat Boston, Orlando and Denver.
- Golden State has lost four of their last five and lost by 22 to Chicago in their last game.
- The game is in Detroit and Golden State is 6 - 25 on the road.
- The Warriors have a 21 - 40 record overall and have been giving much more playing time to their younger players since the All Star Break.
4. Bynum has provided the team with a "spark," according to the Detroit Free Press. He has been commended by most in the organization for his ability to step up and fill the void without Iverson selflessly.
5. In a blowout, he'll spend a lot of time against C.J. Watson who gives up 9.6 assists per 48 minutes.
6. I'm behind schedule, now sitting in an empty computer lab writing this and it's time to go home.
